What you can promote

MyPR runs campaigns in the UAE, so UAE advertising rules set the floor for every brief on the platform. This page is the short version brands are asked to confirm before they request a UGC video, pay for one, or send a custom invitation.

Who this applies to

These rules cover every way a brand works with a creator through MyPR: a UGC campaign creators apply to, a UGC video you pay for directly, and a custom invitation you send to a named creator. They apply to the product or service being advertised, to the brief you write, and to anything you ask the creator to say or show on camera. They apply whether the campaign is a paid ad, a gifted collaboration or an organic post. MyPR operates in the UAE, so UAE advertising rules set the floor. Where the rules of your own market are stricter, the stricter rule applies.

What you cannot promote

Gambling and betting. Casinos, betting and odds apps, raffles run as betting, "free bet" offers, and affiliate or referral links to any of them. Tobacco and smoking products. Cigarettes, shisha and shisha lounges, vapes and e-cigarettes, nicotine pouches, and smoking accessories. Alcohol promoted to the public. If you hold a licence and believe your campaign is an exception, ask us before you brief anyone — do not assume. Drugs, unlicensed supplements and medical claims. No recreational drugs. No supplement, treatment, device or procedure presented as curing, treating, detoxing or fixing a medical condition. No weight-loss promises, no before-and-after results for medical or cosmetic work, and no clinic or practitioner advertised without the licence that work requires. Unlicensed financial, crypto or investment advice. No trading signals, guaranteed or implied returns, "double your money" schemes, token launches, or referral links to unregulated trading and crypto platforms. Licensed financial firms must brief within the permissions they actually hold. Political and religious campaigning. No party, candidate, campaign or cause material, and nothing that promotes or attacks a religion or religious practice. Adult content. No sexual services, nudity, or briefs that ask a creator to make content sexual. Anything that needs a licence or approval you do not hold. Clinics and aesthetics, financial services, education and training, recruitment, events and ticketing, food and health claims, and similar regulated work. Anything defamatory or hateful. No campaign built on attacking a named person, a competitor, a nationality, a religion or a community, and no "exposing" briefs. Counterfeit, replica or stolen goods, and anything you do not have the right to sell, show or licence.

What you are responsible for

You hold the trade licence, permits and approvals your own product or service requires, and you can back up every claim in your brief. If a campaign needs sign-off from an authority, get it before the creator films. You also own the rights to anything you hand the creator to use: logos, music, product footage, scripts and other people's content. MyPR does not check your licences for you and does not give legal advice. Posting a campaign on MyPR is not approval of your product.

Creators can say no

A creator can decline any brief for any reason, including one that is perfectly legal but not for them. Declining is not a breach of anything, and nobody is penalised for it. Do not ask a creator to work around these rules: no hiding an advert as a personal recommendation, no dropping a disclosure you agreed to, and no moving part of the campaign off the platform to avoid them.

If a campaign breaks these rules

MyPR removes content that breaks these rules and can stop a campaign, an order or an invitation at any point. Repeated breaches close the account. What happens to money already paid or owed on a stopped campaign is decided under the Terms of Service.

Not sure? Ask before you book

If you are not sure whether your product fits, ask us through the support page before you pay or send anything. It takes one message and it saves a cancelled campaign.
